   As a lifelong resident of Mansfield and a proud graduate of Mansfield High School, I’ve witnessed firsthand how our community has grown and evolved. My journey has been one of perseverance and dedication, shaped by challenges and triumphs that have prepared me to serve my neighbors as your City Council member.

  Determined to create a better future for my family, I earned my Associate’s degree from the University of North Texas before continuing my education at Dallas Baptist University, where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Education and Christian Ministries. As a single mother raising three children with limited financial resources, I worked tirelessly to put myself through college, instilling in me a deep appreciation for hard work and personal responsibility.

  In 2004, I married Daryle Perez, and together we raised four children as a blended family. That same year, we embarked on our journey as business owners, gaining invaluable experience navigating the ups and downs of entrepreneurship. This background has given me a profound understanding of the challenges facing families and businesses in our community and a commitment to advocating for responsible growth that benefits everyone.

  I have always believed in giving back to the city that shaped me. My contributions to Mansfield include:

  • Arlington Hispanic Chamber golf tournament team (2004-2007)

  • Served on the TIRZ Number One subcommittee (2013)
  • Coordinated the Historic Downtown Spring Fling (2012)
  • Helped coordinate donations for Mansfield Cares (2009)
